Chronicon

Chronicon has a lot of content despite its indie origins. There are about 900 skills, abilities and perks and 700 items. The main campaign is divided into 4 acts: The Fallen Temple, the Elven War, Clairburgh Castle and the Dangerous Wastes. The classes available to choose from are: Templar, Berserker, Guardian and Sorcerer. These are peculiar analogues of a paladin, warrior, archer and mage. Each has different talent trees with active and passive skills.

Gameplay is a diabloid and a roguelike in a fantasy-medieval setting. Chronicon has a slow pace at first. But gradually the game accelerates, and real-time battles become more dynamic and fast. The emphasis here is on grinding and farming. In the process of mowing down hordes of monsters, heroes increase two parameters at once. The character's level traditionally improves and unlocks abilities, and mastery increases their numbers. Hardcore mode includes permadeath.

Crystals are used as currency. With their help, you can buy things from a merchant and be revived if you die. A wide variety of everything allows you to experiment with creating builds. Items can be upgraded using gems, enchantment, and transmutation. A collection of armor sets is also available. Loot is divided into common, rare, unique and legendary.

Maps are generated randomly. At the levels there are shrines that give the protagonist very useful bonuses. When you reach level 100, the game does not end. Special dungeons are available for high-level characters, where difficulty and rewards increase with each passage.
