Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils is a 2D side-scrolling action platformer. In it you need to control an acrobat girl. She is able to run left and right, jump, fly up on trampolines, cling to rings, make tackles, and perform somersaults in the air. The young woman destroys her enemies by jumping on their heads or knocking them down. You can also throw her little flying companion at opponents. The miniature partner is also capable of bouncing off walls and tossing the heroine. As they progress, this duo expands their capabilities. There are also items in the game that provide active and passive abilities. They can be obtained as a reward for completing minor quests or purchased from merchants. However, after a single use, such things disappear.

This retro platformer is styled after hits from the first portable color consoles. Its pixelated graphics emulate the limited color palette of handheld consoles from the '90s. The video game takes place in a world called Ledamra. The plot of Curse Crackers follows the adventures of the acrobat Belle. One day, the heroine's longtime rival, Bonnie, kidnapped her boyfriend Clyde. The girl now needs to destroy her army of skeletons, destroy other people's evil plans and save her beloved knight. She goes on a journey in the company of a sentient bell named Chime. The main campaign consists of 25 stages. In addition to it there is an arcade mode. There are also bonus levels and various mini-games.
