Blade of Darkness

The product is also known as Severance: Blade of Darkness. It is set in a dark fantasy setting. The title contains blood and dismemberment. The combat system is reminiscent of fighting games. Here you can jump, dodge, carry out various attacks, perform combos, parry, and block enemy attacks with a shield. Controls are designed for use of a keyboard and mouse. They also allow you to chop off the limbs of your enemies. Experience is awarded for killing enemies. As you level up, your strength and defense increase, and new combo attacks are unlocked. The arsenal includes 70 types of weapons. And the opponents are represented by goblins, demons, vampires, orcs, trolls, spiders, zombies, skeletons. During fights, you can break surrounding objects. Health is restored by eating food and using healing potions. Those opponents who have potions with them can also be healed. As you progress, you can find different sets of new armor that change the fighter’s appearance and strengthen him. Fights with monsters alternate with overcoming traps, jumping over obstacles, and solving puzzles.

The action offers control of one of 4 characters:

• Barbarian Tukaram - relies on two-handed swords and axes;
• Amazon Zoe - prefers to fight with long weapons, like a spear;
• Dwarf Naglfar - fights with one-handed clubs, hammers and short axes;
• Knight Sargon - loves one-handed maces and blades.
