Mokoko X is an arcade puzzle game. The project has anime graphics. The plot is presented in visual novel format. It consists of various funny and absurd stories. The gamer helps girls cope with their fears. Each of the 8 young ladies has their own phobias. For example: Irene suffers from arachnophobia. To help her, you need to defeat Mr. Fedorov, her imaginary spider. The campaign consists of 32 levels. There are 3 types of difficulty available. All characters are animated and voiced. You can choose between English and Japanese voice acting. All gameplay takes place in real time. There are several modes, including for hardcore fans.

The developers are positioning Mokoko X as a spiritual successor to the old arcade games Qix and Volfied. The user controls the ship, which can only move up, down, left or right and turn strictly at an angle of 90 degrees. Transport leaves the line behind. As he moves, he can cut off pieces of the field, creating squares and rectangles. The user's task is to clear the entire screen in this way and completely unblock the animated picture in the background. There are monsters on the map. They can move freely along the plane in any direction. When enemies collide, they deal damage and reduce their health bar. The shield protects you from their attacks, but its charge gradually decreases. Enemies cannot go beyond the boundaries of the field already cut off by the player. In addition to adversaries, bonuses and traps appear in locations.
