Reshaping Mars invites users to colonize Mars themselves. Starting the process with a minimum amount of resources, they will have to create a base, establish the process of resource extraction and increase the scale of the colony. The process will become much more complicated due to the presence of third-party factors such as sandstorms, low air pressure and high background radiation. This must be taken into account, otherwise the colonizers will simply die due to unsuitable working conditions.

Features of the Reshaping Mars project:

• System of random events - they will occur in places of greatest concentration of units. These could be natural disasters or sudden deterioration in conditions that make work almost impossible.
• Dependence on progress - gamers need to constantly explore the surrounding lands and look for resources, because only with their help can they start producing more functional devices.
• Real-time action - everything happens dynamically, which is why you need to quickly react to what is happening and adapt.

Moreover, all the manipulations that need to be carried out to achieve intermediate results seem complicated only at the initial stage. The system constantly provides the user with hints and indicates possible options for certain actions. For example, generators or power plants can only be fixed in specially designated areas (they are highlighted on the map). When a gamer starts the construction process, a scale appears on the screen showing the dynamics of the process. For example, it will take 30 in-game days to build a station in an observation area. But this does not mean that you cannot do something else at the same time. You can do research or start the process of extracting materials. The user must act quickly so as not to waste time.
