Esports Life Tycoon is an indie role-playing strategy from well-known developers, a simulator for the manager of an e-sports organization that gathers its own team to participate in tournaments of various levels and make a profit. The player will have to manage many processes related to the life of the corporation, choose a development vector, sign up young people or rely on proven individuals who will bring immediate results, but will not become much stronger in the long term. Control using a controller is supported, and a list of achievements is implemented, in which there are 37 awards issued for certain conditions of varying degrees of difficulty.

The project has official licensing from some organizations taking part in e-sports competitions: PSG.LGD, G2 eGaming, Heretics, TSM, SiM, Fnatic. These companies have long been popular among people interested in the sports component of the gaming industry. Competing against the best motivates further growth, and during the course of a manager's career, the gamer gets the chance to compete with these organizations in the main tournaments of the year. A ticket to such a large-scale event must be earned, this is done through a successful season and receiving an invitation from the organizers, or through qualifications.

It is not enough for a user to recruit the best cybersportsmen under his banner to start winning. It is necessary to create a training camp for the team so that they can play with each other. Also, the atmosphere in the team influences the results. If there is a conflict, it will lead to failure in an important tournament. The gamer is responsible for the microclimate; he has to decide how to improve it very quickly, so as not to lose his place in the ranking and a huge part of his profit.
