Risen Kingdom

Risen Kingdom is a real-time strategy game with elements of construction and settlement management, combining classic RTS gameplay and tower defense. The action takes place in a fantasy setting, in a kingdom that has suffered from invasions by hordes of the undead.

The player has two modes available - story and survival. The story mode consists of 8 missions in which you not only need to protect the settlement from waves of the undead, but also develop it in every possible way. There is nothing new here - sawmills and quarries produce stones and wood, farms provide food for the population, and residential buildings increase the population limit and bring gold.

In addition to the economic aspect, the player also needs to consider research. Development along the technology tree occurs in real time and the speed of opening new research depends directly on the level of the castle and the presence of some additional structures. Each research has its own effect on the settlement - some strengthen the military power of the settlement, while others improve the economy.

The player needs to use daytime to develop the settlement, and night time is reserved for battles with the invading undead. There are defensive structures such as palisades, towers, ballistas, fires and so on. And among the combat units there is a choice between swordsmen, archers, paladins, assassins and dwarves. Each of the fighters can be further improved by special upgrades, in addition to the general bonuses that the player receives upon completion of the corresponding research.

In addition to the undead, which attack exclusively at night, neutral enemies are scattered across the maps, guarding valuable resources. They will attack only if the player enters their territory, and this will have to be done, since at first there will be a catastrophic lack of resources.

To complete the level, it is enough to repel all night attacks of the undead, but to get three stars you will have to complete a number of additional tasks, varying depending on the mission.

Graphically, the game is made in the style of Flash games, without any special frills like 3D graphics or any unimaginable special effects, but at the same time it looks quite beautiful. Each monster has its own appearance, clouds float across the sky every now and then, the maps are carefully designed, and in general the colors and colors are quite saturated.
