Mordheim: City of the Damned

Mordheim: City of the damned is the first video game product created on the basis of the board game Mordheim, widely known in narrow circles.

The action takes place in a city devastated by war. The gameplay, based on the mechanics of turn-based tactics, also combines elements of a role-playing game and management of your fighters. In the campaign, our goals will be key points scattered across the map, for which battles take place.

Our choice must fall on one of four factions: Sisters of Sigmar, the cult of the Taken, a detachment of imperial mercenaries or the Skaven. The harshness of the local world is especially emphasized by the fact that the death of a fighter during battle is final. In addition, our soldiers can suffer serious injuries, for example, losing a limb. They will have to live and fight with this. As it should be, fighters are divided into classes; we carefully dress each of our soldiers in the equipment we find and improve his strengths.

There is also a dynamic online mode, in which the confrontation for the destroyed city escalates even more. To win in multiplayer, be sure to use the landscape features for cover and stealth, and also fight for all significant objects, such as destroyed buildings and points with equipment. Visually, we have a gloomy gothic style here, emphatically cruel and uncompromising in everything.
