Raid on Taihoku

Raid on Taihoku uses a World War II setting. The events shown in the game take place in 1945 on the island of Taiwan. The action takes place in the city of Taihoku, also known by the modified name Taipei. On May 31, during the confrontation between the United States and Japan in the Taiwan Strait, American B-24 Liberators bombed the island capital, killing many residents. The main character named Sayako was lucky to survive, but she lost her memory due to shell shock. Together with a dog named Blackie, the girl went on a journey through a destroyed village to regain her memories.

Raid on Taihoku is a 2.5D adventure game with visual novel elements. It combines 2D and 3D graphics. The video game uses 2 types of fixed camera. While moving around the global map, the player observes what is happening from a bird's eye view. When moving between points of interest, you must avoid contact with opponents who throw stones at the young woman. You can cover yourself from their projectiles with an umbrella. And the study of specific locations takes place with a side view. The protagonist can pick up and use found items. She has 4 slots for active items. In addition, she is able to interact with non-scripts and the environment, as well as read documents.
