Sunrider 4: The Captain's Return

Sunrider 4: The Captain's Return continues the story of the saga. In the fourth part, Kaito Shields returns from exile. He will have to restore his name after exile. Other characters familiar to those who have completed previous games in the series appear again in the plot. For example: Asaga, Sola, Ikari, Claude, Ava. Besides them, there are new heroes and heroines. The former Sunrider crew members join forces to once again fight the Crimson Fleet. They will have to meet old villains and meet previously unappeared antagonists. The story campaign can take 25-30 hours to complete. It is a sequel to the video game Liberation Day. In it, the developers improved the anime art, refined the combat, reduced the impact of randomness on the gameplay, and added partial voice acting to the characters in Japanese.

Sunrider 4: The Captain's Return is a mix of tactical RPG and visual novel. Players need to complete 40 combat scenarios. Fights take place in a step-by-step mode with a top-down view involving mechs. You can give orders to your players using a mouse or gamepad. It is possible to use the services of mercenaries and create different builds for units. There is also a choice of difficulty level. In between battles, you need to not only watch the development of the narrative, but also build relationships with team members. Gaining their loyalty unlocks additional and more powerful abilities.
