STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords tells the story of an exiled Jedi who awakens and is confused about his location and identity. After the first part of the game, where the character wakes up and doesn’t remember anything, exactly five years have passed. Using instincts and reflexes, he flies away on a black hawk. At this moment we are shown memories. It turns out that the Republic is on the verge of collapse. The Sith and their Lords destroyed 90% of the Jedi, who became a rare species in the entire galaxy. There is only one Jedi left in the entire republic who is not defined by the light or dark side - he goes to the Force, tries to restore contact with it.
All actions of the protagonist add influence points to us. We will travel from one planet to another - the player chooses the movement independently. On each planet there will be both friendly characters whom the protagonist knows, and hostile ones with whom he will have to fight. At this stage, mastery of lightsaber styles opens up before us. The first is designed for mass fights and defense from opponents; the second is 1 on 1 battles.
There is “influence” in the game. This is a psychological factor that influences the behavior of our counterpart in dialogues, and later on our reputation. The higher your influence, the more the character will have to prove his point of view and the rightness of the choice between darkness or light. The developers say little specifically about the events in the plot. What is known is that each action leads us to a specific goal, which directly depends on the choice of the side. If you chose the Light, you will seek out the Jedi to save; if Darkness, then the search is not limited to murder.
