The fantasy roguelike CrossCode is about a young girl, Lea, who plays an MMO called CrossCode. That’s right, this ambitious project tells the story of the usual routine activities of a gamer. According to the plot, the events take place in the near future, where virtual reality has become more interesting than the real one.

This is why many people spend days and days playing with their favorite toys in search of fun. Lea spends a lot of time here, but then disaster happens. The girl loses her memory and can no longer speak. Not understanding what really happened to her, she goes back to the fictional world and goes through all the quests again in order to remember how her life unfolded before her memory loss and what caused such a problem in the first place.

The events of the CrossCode game unfold in a huge isometric view open for exploration. During the passage, the user needs to communicate with many characters who are also trying to complete tasks. At the same time, all the NPCs talk about geeky topics, gather gangs to hunt bosses - everything is as it should be. As in a classic roguelike, here you will have to do things like kill numerous bots, collect weapons and equipment, and, of course, upgrade a huge number of skills and unique abilities.
