Spellbook Demonslayers is positioned by the developers as a roguelite survival game. It is a simplified top-down action roguelike with 2D pixel graphics. There are 7 characters to choose from, many of which are initially locked. To open access to them, you must fulfill special conditions during the passage. Each hero has a starting bonus, one starting skill, and a special passive. You can control the selected protagonist using the keyboard, mouse or gamepad. There are 4 locations in the game. They are also not all open at once. Stages can be upgraded to rank 5, receiving new capabilities for each improvement. Before the start, you can choose the time - 13, 20 or 30 minutes. The player appears in the arena, after which monsters begin to attack him from all sides. The user's task is to hold out until the timer runs out. At the same time, the enemies gradually become stronger. Among them there are elite demons. These are mini-bosses that strengthen the crowd of adversaries.

SD may be of interest to those who enjoyed the video game Vampire Survivors. The gameplay is very similar here. The user can only move his ward and build builds for him. The warrior attacks enemies on his own. The types of his projectiles and rate of fire depend on the equipment. Opponents lose experience when killed. It must be collected to increase levels. With each levelup, gamers are offered to take new equipment or improve existing ones. As in the mastermind project, here you can earn a special currency (in this case, astral flowers) and spend it on buying permanent improvements between runs. You can increase all characters' health, damage dealt, movement speed, critical chance, regeneration and other parameters
