Our Life: Beginnings and Always

Our Life: Beginnings & Always is a visual novel in which the gamer is asked to live his whole life as a virtual protégé, making all the important decisions for him. Next door to the main character lives a lonely boy named Cove Holden, who will also grow up and remain one of the central figures in the storyline. The project is focused on showing simple human relationships, everyday worries and emotional experiences based on all kinds of vivid emotions.

During the passage of the single-player campaign, the player will have to make many difficult and fateful decisions that affect not only the lyrical hero, but also the people who surround him as he grows up as an individual. The player of Our Life: Beginnings and Always will be able to customize the appearance of their protagonist, and choose a pronoun to refer to the person. In total, the developers have prepared content for 15-20 hours of reading the novel, depending on the decisions made while studying the game.

The central plot line is the relationship with Cove, who lives nearby. The player can independently choose whether to remain friends with him until the very end, confess romantic feelings in the middle of the story, or open his soul from the first meeting. This will affect the development of events after making certain decisions during the passage.
