Stay Out of the House

Stay Out of the House offers you to experience a real nightmare from the perspective of a fragile girl. We play as Roxanne. After the car was forced to stop, she went in search of her driver Brandon and came across an old house. The woman went inside and was stunned by someone unknown. After that, she woke up in a makeshift dungeon.

The gamer's task: to escape from the lair of a serial maniac and part-time cannibal. You have to run and hide from the butcher in a bloody apron with a bag on your head. The fanatic holds a hammer in his hands. The antagonist is able to easily hear the escaped victim, so it is better to explore the old building carefully in stealth mode. During the rescue process, the heroine will visit various rooms of a two-story house, a basement, ventilation, a garden and an underground bunker. The psycho's habitat is filled with all sorts of traps and secrets.

Stay Out of the House has a unique visual style. The graphics are stylized as the first 3D in video games of the nineties: floating textures, low resolution, low polygon count. A VHS filter is placed on top of all this. Here a view from the eyes is implemented with the ability to zoom. Items must be placed in inventory. There is a lighter instead of a flashlight, master keys and other useful items. You can even find a revolver with cartridges and try to shoot the monster. The game allows you to find a way out of the situation in different ways.
