update details
False Skies may be of interest to fans of old-school JRPGs. This indie title emulates the role-playing games of old consoles. It has 2D and pixel graphics with a minimalistic color palette. Visually, the product is stylized as hits from early portable consoles. The gameplay is accompanied by a chiptune soundtrack. The point of the gameplay is to explore a partially open world, search for cool loot, communicate with NPCs, complete quests, clear dungeons (there are about 12 dungeons), farm experience, increase levels and fight monsters (there are about 300 varieties of them). Combat is traditionally turn-based, but it moves quickly. During fights you can use weapons, skills, objects and magic.
The setting in the indie project False Heavens crosses fantasy with science fiction and steampunk. The team consists of 4 people. In the story, adventurers try to uncover the mystery of the appearance of a city that was destroyed more than 2000 years ago. At the very beginning, you can form the composition of the party. The indie game has 8 classes: Librarian, Medic, Evoker, Hexer, Dancer, Infiltrator, Pugilist, Light Infantry. They can be freely changed. When changing specialization, characters retain their already upgraded characteristics and learned skills. Outdated and unnecessary skills can be replaced if desired. The class system allows all professions to use any equipment, but with different effectiveness. For example, you can give a magician a blade, but a warrior with this sword will fight much better.
