Battle Ax

Battle Ax is an arcade top-down adventure made in retro style. Events take place in the lands of Mercia. The civilian population was taken hostage by the evil sorceress Etheldreda. She captured almost the entire territory of the continent, and she settled in the north of the country. Every 7 years she sends her warriors south to capture more slaves. All over the continent, brave warriors begin to gather, eager to engage the sorceress in open battle.

An elf, a magician and a thief respond to the call for help. Such a motley bunch decides to try their luck and invites players to join their campaign. It is unknown how it will turn out, but being a real hero is not so easy. In any case, if you do nothing, then sooner or later the kingdom will come to an end, so it is better to try to fight than to meekly await your fate. You can play alone or in co-op with up to three people. Each player takes on the role of one of the heroes.

All characters are represented by their skills and characteristics. There are a huge number of both main and side quests available in Battle Ax. The battles are done in the hack-n-slash style. The adventure combines elements of RPG, action and quest. The legendary master of his craft, Manami Matsumae, worked on the music, emphasizing the atmosphere of heroic fantasy.
