update details
The game genre is smash 'em up shooter. We play as a character who is trying to escape from the clutches of the invaders. On the path to freedom, we will use our opponents as human shields, taking away their weapons and armor. And, as a bonus, the developers added a lot of jazz to the game as musical accompaniment. APE OUT is one of those games that doesn't bother you with its difficult plot, but constantly keeps you in suspense.
Our character is a gorilla. Despite the fact that primates have not yet received such development, the main character can pick up a weapon, but not shoot from it. For example, throwing a pistol at an enemy to deal some damage. Also, the basis of the game will be to capture the enemy and use him as a human shield. This practice will help you complete the game with a minimum number of deaths.
Opponents die easily, and this plays into our hands. However, there will be so many enemies that sometimes it will be incredibly difficult to escape from the labyrinth in which we are imprisoned. If we die, we start the game from the very beginning, but at the same time the artificial intelligence generates the levels again, so remembering the map layouts and continuing to go through the levels with the phrase: “I know where to go here” will not work.
A special feature of the game was jazz music. Each new level is either a composition or an entire album recorded by professional musicians. Believe me, it will be more interesting to destroy people from the face of a gorilla if the rhythm quickly moves to three quarters, and the saxophone helps with its sounds!
