Trails of the Black Sun

Trails of the Black Sun crosses a first-person shooter with a 3D platformer with parkour elements. The video game uses a science fiction setting. In it you can run, slide, make tackles, jump, swing, climb ledges, go up and down stairs, slide down ropes, and climb beams. Objects that can be grabbed onto are highlighted in red. There are firearms: pistols, machine guns, assault rifles, and so on. Guns are capable of not only destroying enemies, but also destroying some obstacles. It is possible to shoot in slow motion mode. The gameplay is somewhat similar to Mirror's Edge.

The local plot and lore are in some places reminiscent of the Assassin's Creed franchise. The project Traces of the Black Sun takes place inside a digital simulation. It is there that the Ancient Order sends the Initiate to find and return the artifacts that this faction once owned. And this protagonist is prevented from achieving his goal by the eternal enemies of the mysterious organization - the Templars. You need to save here at checkpoints, which are quite common in locations. The emphasis in the dynamic gameplay is on quickly overcoming obstacles. Shootings with enemies are given a secondary role. There are also episodes with stealth. You can sneak up on your enemies from behind and stun them.
