The Pale Beyond

The Pale Beyond is a survival visual novel where every choice has a solution. The Arctic is harsh and cruel to anyone who decides to enter its territory, and explorers must always be prepared for unforeseen circumstances. But even they can be broken by some kind of misfortune and being on the verge of death from lack of food and terrible cold.

Several years ago, the ship Viscount set out in search of the absolute South, but failed and never returned. No one has ever managed to go this far, but the captain of the ship, Temperance, is not going to give up. He recruits a team of the same desperate adventurers and sets off with them along the same route as their predecessors. One night, the leader of the study mysteriously disappears, and until the circumstances are clarified, the protagonist is appointed leader. Now he has to not only complete the mission, but also ensure the safety of each crew member.

The main parameters of the The Palais Beyond team:

• The number of dogs - most of the survival of the squad depends on these animals, since with their help you can move forward and look for valuable resources, the animals must be provided with food and everything they need for health
• Crew member - the more of them, the greater the need for all resources, but the chances of life are higher
• Food - it can be saved, but nevertheless it will constantly be wasted and starvation can lead to illness and other unpleasant consequences
• Warmth is equally important, especially on winter evenings, because cold is the most effective slow killer.

All indicators must be kept normal and their quantity strictly monitored, since the ending and the number of survivors who will reach the end depend on this. The game has many plot branches that are activated by decisions made and relationships with the team. Try to return home or try to fulfill a dangerous dream? Only the player decides.
