Shadow of Ether

Shadow of Ether is a first-person horror game that plunges you into the depths of the lower astral plane, filled with darkness and negative energies. At the center of the story is Alex, a man endowed with spiritual abilities who must expel the Archons - powerful entities that feed on fear and suffering. His journey leads him to an abandoned, eerie house located in the forest, where he encounters a sixth-level archon, an unusually dangerous and mysterious enemy.

The gameplay seamlessly combines elements of survival, exploration and puzzle solving. Alex must use his unusual abilities and communication with mystical entities to overcome the dangers and trials that befall the lower astral plane. Beyond the game mechanics, the game offers a deep philosophical and psychological layer as Alex discovers the true essence of the Archon and its influence on his psyche and soul. The main goal is to create an atmosphere filled with tension and keep the player in a constant state of anticipation.

Drawing inspiration from the developer's personal experiences in the astral realm, as well as studies in the fields of metaphysics, occultism and spirituality, Shadow of the Aether creates an imaginative rather than realistic interpretation of the astral plane. Influence of various sources such as G.F. Lovecraft, Carlos Castaneda and Robert Monroe infuse the game with mythological and literary references, giving it thematic depth.
