The developers put philosophical overtones into their storyline, used in the single-player campaign. This is expressed in the topic raised - the worst nightmares of every person living or who has ever lived on the planet. The gamer will have to go through the kingdom of dreams, where all levels take place. They are filled with hordes of enemies embodying the most terrible images that the human mind can draw. Only by surviving all the trials offered by this place will the protagonist be able to reach the goal of his own journey and receive redemption.

The combat system of the game "Luke: Born of a Dream" uses magic spells that the hero learned from his familiars. The gamer will be asked to customize the hero’s appearance, upgrade his abilities and discover new ways to evade enemy attacks.
