STANDBOX , a whimsical single-player physics sandbox, invites players to indulge their childhood impulses to push boundaries and experiment. Imagine a virtual world in which a resilient doll takes center stage, undergoing all sorts of trials and tribulations at your command.

In this interactive digital playground, you can interact with your ragdoll in a variety of ways. Whether you choose to give him a gentle nudge or unleash your wildest whims on him, the Ragdoll's reaction and resilience can be observed. In the process of manipulation, he demonstrates amazing behavior: standing, balancing, falling and inevitably trying to get up, even if his physical condition leaves much to be desired. These movements are controlled by a complex approximation of a medical system with organs that react to what is happening in their own way.

STANDBOX takes us back to the era of video game tech demos, when the appeal of a game lay less in the gameplay itself and more in its technical prowess. It's a modest but intriguing sandbox experiment that focuses on the behavior of a doll named Stanley. Able to maintain balance, endure injury, battle traumatic brain injury, survive fractures, and demonstrate a tenacious determination to get back on his feet despite injury, Stanley truly becomes the star of this unconventional show. The game's landscape consists of three separate maps, providing plenty of space for your ragdoll endeavors. As you explore this world, you will be accompanied by a variety of tools, each offering unique ways to interact with Stanley and manipulate his reactions.
