Theseus Protocol is a side-scrolling card roguelike. The project stands out for its hand-drawn 2D anime-style graphics and sci-fi setting with cyberpunk elements. It takes place in a dystopian future city called Mark City, where elites plot and bandits cause mayhem. The player will have to uncover the cruel and dark secrets of this metropolis, and also greatly influence the fate of humanity. The user is assigned the role of Prometheus. The non-linear plot is presented in a disjointed format. Local lore is gradually revealed as you play through it multiple times. As a reward for the races, the gamer receives a special currency. It is spent on purchasing perks and upgrading weapons.

The Theseus Protocol is the spiritual successor to Slay The Spire. The user travels across the map between points of interest, takes part in various events, fights opponents, changes and strengthens his deck, and fights bosses. He is given 3 characters to choose from. In addition to their appearance, they all differ from each other in their unique stories and their own fighting styles. Cards and equipment can interact with each other in synergy. The point of the gameplay is to plot the optimal route to the leader, assemble an effective build along the way to him and successfully defeat the adversary. Combat is traditionally turn-based. In them you need to play the items correctly. Battles are animated. Fights are accompanied by various shots and explosions.
