Blue Wednesday is a story-driven adventure game that talks about life, love, failure and mental health in the language of jazz. The project follows the journey of Morris, a jazz pianist living in Evans City, a fictional metropolis based on Los Angeles. The game combines point-and-click gameplay with various mini-games and scenes that reveal Morris's story and personality.

Blue Wednesday allows the participant to interact with various characters and objects in the city, as well as make choices that affect the outcome of the story. The game also features a collecting system where the user can find and play sheet music and rare music albums of various genres. The goal is to create an immersive experience that reflects Morris's emotions and concerns through music and visuals. You can chat with NPCs, play the piano, discover secrets and items that can affect the plot. The game has more than 20 mini-games in which you can show your abilities and creativity: write songs, play instruments, solve puzzles. Blue Wednesday is not a typical adventure game, as it focuses not on puzzles and combat, but on storytelling and atmosphere. The game draws influences from jazz culture and history, as well as films such as La La Land and The Scourge. It also touches on topics such as depression, anxiety, addiction, suicide and how they affect artists and musicians.
