update details
Darwinia does not have a specific genre due to the diversity of its gameplay. Includes action, real-time strategy and puzzle elements. Here the player finds himself in the fictional world of Darwinia, created in the form of a polygonal sphere, and intelligent creatures live on its surface. But there are no segments of the sphere in the environment, which is why you can look behind the intertwined luminous threads representing the World Wide Web.
The measurement territory consists of small islands that differ in purpose, appearance and type of terrain. Trunk ports allow you to connect areas in the world and provide them with a communication system similar to spatial gates. The user is able to use units, a certain program that allows him to influence the environment. It is possible to assign countless similar programs with their own goals and instructions. Among the wards there will be Darwinians, the main settlers of the world, but at the start they have no weapons, and if they meet an enemy, they try to run away.
Gradually, the gamer will gain access to new features and units. Among them will be Officers, squads, Engineers, infantry fighting vehicles and a cannon. They allow you to control Darwinians, fight a virus or collect digital souls, or transport characters. There are buildings, for example, a control tower that controls connected buildings, and with the help of engineers you can take control of neutral structures. Digital souls are sent to the Incubator to be turned into living beings. You can teleport units thanks to the Communication Station.
