Backbone

In the world of Tails Noir, all the heroes act as anthropomorphic creatures. The main character of the story is a detective raccoon based on Howard Lotor. The events take place in the dystopian city of Vancouver. Noir style, gloomy atmosphere of cabaret and smoke give the game an individual charm.

Howard is an experienced private investigator who is tired of carrying out the same type of assignments. He is cool towards an authoritarian regime that tries to control the lives of all citizens. A series of mysterious events brings him one unusual case. Backbone's hero leads the investigation, sniffing clues and interrogating witnesses. The gameplay is a classic point-and-click adventure with stealth mechanics. The hero has an inventory in which he collects evidence and objects with which he builds a logical chain. Becbon is inspired by classic noir films, maintaining the atmosphere with the help of dark notes of doom-jazz.

The game contains a system of branching dialogues that affect the gameplay. The protagonist may follow the wrong trail, which will significantly confuse the matter. The detective will try to unravel the tangled tangle of events, passing through the dirty backstreets of the city and smoky taverns. On his way he will meet various puzzles and many charismatic characters with their own stories and secrets.
