Yeomna: The Legend of Dongbaek is about a girl named Dongbaek. This woman is a half-demon and holds the rank of Junior Exorcist. One day, the Demon King invades the peaceful kingdom and defeats the Jade Emperor. And his henchmen successfully deal with the exorcists. After these events, Lord Yomna sends the protagonist to the City of Seals on a special mission to find the missing child. The heroine goes on a journey through the underworld. As she progresses, she gradually restores one fairy village and becomes stronger. The lore of the game is revealed through scrolls that are hidden in locations. You can also find useful loot in hidden places.

Yeomna: The Legend of Dongbaek is a 2D metroidvania inspired by traditional Korean painting and folklore. The project has hand-drawn graphics. It uses skeletal and frame-by-frame animation. The main character can change forms. In human form, you can use blades and shoot from a pistol. There is the ability to quickly switch between melee and ranged weapons. And the appearance of a cat makes it possible to move quickly and crawl into narrow places. Enemies are represented by various demons. Their designs are based on South Korean mythology. Among them there are bosses. Weapons can be improved (for this you need to collect different materials), and skills can be upgraded. The heroine also periodically receives new abilities such as a double jump. Here you also need to collect food to restore health and get buffs.
