Chicory: A Colorful Tale is a coloring adventure with RPG and Metroidvania elements. Let's play as a dog. The user is asked to name a person's friend after their favorite food. The character is controlled with a mouse or gamepad cursor. There is a co-op mode for two.

The action takes place in the world of anthropomorphic animals. In the story, in the province of Picnic, all colors disappear except black and white. The dog finds a magic brush and decides to return the paints to their place. He also wants to find the previous owner of a powerful artifact - an artist named Chicory.

In Chicory: A Colorful Tale, the hero explores and paints locations, communicates with local animals, finds new abilities, solves puzzles using painting, and opens costumes. The brush allows you to apply colors to objects and solve puzzles. Here you can draw a special symbol on the block so that it disappears and clears the passage. And here you can use an original way to dispel the darkness that interferes with your passage - just paint it.

Some NPCs will give you orders and ask you to help them. The dog will not be able to go to certain places until it learns specific skills. Most skills involve applying paint. Plants and furniture are hidden at levels. They will help to better customize the life of the tailed protagonist.
