Confabulation: Homestead

Confabulation: Homestead combines elements of survival and spot-the-difference challenges. We find ourselves in a tense situation, trying to uncover the mysteries surrounding their home while confronting the lurking threat.

The game begins with a feeling of anxiety when the main characters notice unusual phenomena in their area. From strange sounds in the yard to mysterious movements in your peripheral vision, the atmosphere in the house becomes tense. The main character goes in search of traps and eventually discovers something inexplicable, but this discovery is worth a lot - his family has disappeared, and the police suspect evil spirits. The user's task is clear: to unravel the truth behind the disappearance of the family and at the same time confront the sinister presence.

Throughout the entire passage you will need to carefully monitor the details of your home and surroundings. Objects gradually change, and it is important to photograph these changes to return them to normal. If too many changes accumulate, it will strengthen the lurking threat and bring it closer. In addition to this, the police are on the way to make an arrest, and the gamer has approximately an hour to complete the assigned task or be arrested himself. There is no way to save progress in the game, but some puzzles become permanently unlocked after completing them twice.

A distinctive feature of Confabulation: Homestead is its replay value. With each playthrough, different puzzles arise, objects and horror elements change, allowing for a new experience each time. Multiple endings, different difficulties (Standard, Hard and Endless) and modes add depth and complexity to the gameplay. Endless mode in particular offers a unique and increasingly tense experience as changes happen faster and faster.
