The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next-Gen

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next-Gen is a next-gen re-release that improves both the graphical performance of the original fantasy adventure and corrects some bugs, in particular, “fast” voice acting. The remaster features updated high-resolution textures, improved optimization, new weapons, armor and alternative skins for characters added from the series of the same name. The next-gen version of The Witcher 3 includes all story additions, including Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. An open world is available for exploration, consisting of regions such as the White Garden, Velen, Novigrad, Skellige, Toussaint and Kaer Morhen. You can get around on foot, by boat or with the help of a horse named Roach.

In the story, Geralt of Rivia must find Ciri's Child of Destiny in order to stop the threat of the Wild Hunt. Quests in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition are divided into main, secondary, orders for monsters and Witcher Antiquities, offering to find improved equipment from different schools, such as a wolf, a cat, a bear. On the map you can find various activities, including destroying nests, searching for weapons and treasures. The plot features both characters familiar from the series, for example, Vernon Roche, Triss Merigold, Zoltan or Dandelion, and there are also characters who have not previously appeared in previous games: Regis, Yennefer, Emhyr or Cirilla.

Geralt uses two types of swords in battle: silver for monsters and steel for people. auxiliary weapons are a crossbow and several types of bombs. Witcher spells are called Signs and are divided into several types: Igni, Aard, Quen, Yrden and Axiy. Signs provide the ability to push enemies away, set fire to them, or disorient opponents. The bestiary consists of ordinary monsters, such as Drowners, Ghouls, Midday or Basilisk, as well as strong opponents: Goblin, Bruxa the Secretive or Keymaster. An inventory is available where quest items, books that increase characteristics, money and various rubbish are stored: dishes, musical instruments, fabric and much more. The player's actions affect the plot. The finale includes three endings, depending on the relationship between Geralt and Ciri.
