The Curse of Zigoris

The Curse of Zigoris is an adventure platformer with 2D pixel graphics and little background detail. The gamer takes control of a young elf named Eva. She has the skills of a witch, which greatly simplifies her movement through locations that are densely populated by monsters in the form of zombies, skeletons, bats, and so on. She was sent on a difficult journey in order to find a way to save the wizard Zygoris, struck by dark magic.

Throughout the entire passage, the player learns many techniques that help the protagonist overcome all the difficulties that appear on the way to her cherished goal. The girl is armed with her trusty knife, which allows her to deflect projectiles flying at her from her enemies. This mechanic is used repeatedly throughout the single-player campaign in various and unexpected places, such as solving puzzles blocking the path forward.

The gamer has the opportunity to upgrade the main character. It is necessary to acquire new skills and improvements for weapons and characteristics using the collected local currency - gold coins dropped from the corpses of killed enemies. To use skills, you need to replenish your own supply of magical power. More powerful spells cost more mana, but have a stronger effect.
