Draft of Darkness

Draft of Darkness is a roguelike adventure game where you build your own deck of cards to fight your enemies. Each ability or combo attack used by the protagonist is used by playing a card on the game table. The TCG is combined with the mechanics of survival horror, in which you need to explore locations to collect vital things that allow the main character of the story from the single-player campaign to exist. The game supports issuing achievements for certain actions from a special list of awards, and also collects user statistics using artificial intelligence.

Before the start of survival, the player gets the opportunity to choose his protagonist from a large list of available options. Each of them has its own differences from the others. Any character is not without shortcomings; you need to determine who will be most useful for your own playing style and get down to business. Most of the time, the virtual protégé explores available locations using an isometric camera.

During the journey, there is a chance to meet living people who are ready to give out side quests or join a squad for joint survival in the oppressive atmosphere of hospitals, residences of nobles, city streets and so on. Due to the non-linearity of the storyline, the player influences further events and the ending of the story with his choices.
