Endoparasitic is a survival horror game with 2D pixel graphics and a top-down view. It has shooter and stealth elements. This indie horror differs from other representatives of the genre in a number of features. Firstly, the action takes place on an asteroid. According to the plot, the hero wants to save his research. The task is complicated by mutated monsters that roam the secret laboratory. As the story progresses, new characters appear. Secondly, after an attack by monsters, the protagonist lost three limbs. However, he did not die, thanks to the parasite inside him. Thirdly, the creature that has penetrated his brain is also a health scale.

The Endoparasitic game also stands out because the controls are mouse-only. The user does not control the character, but his only remaining limb. Using your right hand you need to crawl, activate switches, pick up objects, shoot, load cartridges individually, regularly inject vaccines, and so on. Aiming when using a revolver and other guns (there are 4 barrels in total) also needs to be done manually. Due to the scientist being seriously injured, the user is unable to perform multiple actions at the same time. There are moments where you have to hide from enemies. There are also boss battles. In addition, there are episodes in which you need to solve puzzles.
