Baba Is You

Baba Is You is a game in the popular puzzle genre. The project, developed by indie programmer Hempuli Oi, uses pixel graphics and a camera positioned high above, which creates conditions for greater visibility around the protagonist for faster response to changes. The single-player campaign is divided into 200 separate levels with increasing degrees of difficulty, resulting in much more intricate puzzles on the way to the final scene, and the use of new mechanics.

The gameplay is based on the fact that the gamer has the ability to control and interact in every possible way with the blocks that make up each location where the protagonist is located. By moving walls, obstacles and other tangible pixels, the player changes the original rules established by the creator and opens up access to a non-linear progression of each test.

The visual design of the project is made in a minimalist style, the backgrounds are monochromatic, repeating the color scheme of the territories themselves in the foreground. Important and necessary information for finding solutions to puzzles is located in the corners of the screen. This was done so as not to distract from the gameplay.
