Rise to Ruins

Rise to Ruins is a strategic indie village management simulator that grows during the game and requires more resources and attention to detail from the gamer. The camera is located above the ground surface for a better overview of the largest possible area. The built-in editor allows you to create designs for buildings and arrange new landscapes for the further development of your own village in this territory.

The gameplay is divided into two types: defensive and development stage. At night, monsters, aggressive animals and vile bandits become active. Defense of possessions occurs in the form of standard tower defense. Properly built protective redoubts will allow you to successfully fight off waves of enemies and earn useful loot that falls from the bodies of defeated enemies. During the day you need to develop the settlement and improve the buildings.

Game modes available to gamers:

• Normal – standard difficulty and balance, as originally intended by the developers.
• Survival – increased amount of health for enemies, this is a test for those who like difficulties.
• Nightmare - the difficulty rises in a geometric procession, one game day takes a couple of hours due to the incredibly difficult waves. The day lasts less than the night time.
• Peaceful - without attacks from enemies, a regime that is focused on development.
• Sandbox - the player receives legal "cheats" and can do anything: create waves of monsters, acquire an unlimited amount of resources, and so on. Suitable for mechanic testing.
• Custom – the most flexible, with the ability to personalize any parameter.
